Template:Define specific type/doc
From Linking experiences of World War One
Usage
This template is used to show that a page defines a particular value that can be used for the "specific_type" parameter in {{infobox military unit}}. The page name should be exactly the same as the value as it should appear in the infobox. Names should be in sentence case, not title case. Definition pages should give a human-readable explanation of what that unit type was, and references to any relevant sources.
This template automatically adds pages to Category:Specific type definitions.
The specific type being defined does not need to be entered as a parameter in this template because it's automatically taken from the page name.
{{Define parameter | type = | size = }}
- type – this is the value of the "type" parameter that should always be used with this specific type. For example, Infantry battalion has the type Infantry. Pages that define "type" use {{Define type}} and are listed in Category:Type definitions
- size – the value of the "size_at_full_strength" parameter that should usually be used with this specific type. For example, Infantry battalion has the size 1,000.
