Usage

You can use this template to cite British War Office Instructions, issued up to December 1915. (For Army Council Instructions issued from January 1916 onwards, please us {{Cite ACI}} instead.)

Parameter names can be omitted if the values are entered in this order. All parameters are required.

• number – the number of the Instruction referenced. The sequence of numbers restarted every month so you will also need to specify the month and year below.
• month – the month in which the Instruction was issued. Please spell it out in full.
• year – the year in which the Instruction was issued.
