Portrait of Captain Charles Albert Barnes in the uniform of 88th Infantry Regiment, Australian Militia. He previously served in Western Australia's 4th Mounted Infantry Contingent in the Boer War and later served in 11th Battalion, Australian Imperial Force (AIF) in the First World War until he was killed at Gallipoli.
